Due to its massive size, Specimen MHX-0801 [Code Name: A Tall Lady] is one of the most recognizable specimens found within the park. It was also among the first unique specimens to be discovered during the original science team’s first survey of the area. MHX-0801 has since become a symbol of Mohaine National Park itself, likely due to its instant recognizability and ease in which MHX-0801 can be spotted by visitors.
MHX-0801 has been classified as ■■■■■■■■■ and most greatly resembles an adult female deer/doe. What distinguishes MHX-0801 from other individuals is its incredible height. While exact measurements have yet to be confirmed, most estimates place MHX-0801 ■■■■■■■ ■■■■■■ ■■■■ tall at the shoulder, far greater than what was believed to be the maximum possible height for any member of the cervidae family. By comparison, an adult moose (the largest among the cervidae species) stands at an average of 5-7 feet tall at the shoulder.
MHX-0801 can most commonly be seen in the early hours of the evening, grazing near the southernmost foothills of the Eastern Reach and throughout the Phasic Valley. MHX-0801's observed range covers an area of ■■■■■■■■■■■■■ ■■■ ■■■■■■
■■■■■ across a combination of forest and shrublands where it appears to sustain on a diet of foliage, flowers, shrubs, grasses, woody plants, nuts and fruits.
