It's a great time of year to get out there and see the sites! And while we encourage all our guests to explore the labyrinths of our park's 333.333 mesmerizing miles of hiking trails throughout the park, we also want to ensure the safety of our park's guests and it's fascinating inhabitants. 

For many, springtime is a time of growth and awakening. This is also true for bears. And Mohaine happens to be home to many. Going into effect the 3rd weekend in March through the 1st weekend in May, the following campgrounds will be closed for public safety.

NO OVERNIGHT CAMPING - VISITORS MUST LEAVE BY DUSK

• Crow Creek Campground: Late March - Early May
• Sanctum Campground: Late March - Early May
• Shadowdale Campground: Late March - Early May
