Driving In Mohaine National Park
Speed limit is 45 mph unless otherwise posted. Drive slowly and cautiously to protect yourself or wildlife. Roads are subject to weather closure and "other" conditions, please check website for current conditions. Remember to follow all road signs and DO NOT attempt to turn around in any anomalous area. Off-road travel is illegal.
Swimming
All waters are closed to motorized watercraft. Swimming is permitted in designated areas only. Remember we share the water with all forms of life in the park.
Hiking
Keep only to clearly marked trails. Day hiking does not require a permit.
Camping
For safety reasons, overnight camping is only permitted in designated camping areas.
Fishing
You must have a Mohaine National Park fishing permit and follow park regulations. You MUST return ALL singing fish to the water immediately.
Backcountry Use
Do not use the maps available on this site. Trail maps are available in the park. Permits are required for backcountry camping.
